About the SIC

The Startup Innovation Cell (SIC) was established on 15th January 2024 in accordance with the norms of the Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Enterprise (CIIE) at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Recognizing the significance of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students, the college took a progressive step by setting up this dedicated cell. The institution was honored with the Establishment Certificate from Savitribai Phule Pune University, marking its commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, and business acumen among young minds.

The SIC serves as a dynamic platform to promote entrepreneurial activities by providing guidance, mentorship, and resources to aspiring student entrepreneurs. It encourages students to generate innovative business ideas, develop viable startup models, and explore opportunities in various industries. Through interactive workshops, expert talks, and incubation support, the Startup Innovation Cell aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering a culture of self-reliance and economic growth.
